The invention discloses a steel box girder sliding device and a support carrying method. The method comprises the following steps that S1, a pre-splicing field is arranged on an embankment, a riverway trestle is arranged in a riverway, a sliding way is arranged at the top end of the riverway trestle, a plurality of moving and transporting pieces used for moving and transporting steel box girder sections are arranged on the sliding way in a sliding fit mode, and the sliding way inclines downwards; s2, transporting the steel box girder component to a pre-splicing field for pre-splicing, and then welding into a complete steel box girder section; s3, a power piece is arranged at the end, close to the foremost end of the lower river trestle, of the sliding way, the output end of the power piece is connected with a moving and transporting piece through a steel strand, and the previous steel box girder section is pulled to move downwards to the foremost end of the lower river trestle along the sliding way through cooperation of the power piece, the steel strand and the moving and transporting piece; the next steel box girder section is reserved to serve as a matching section for assembling the subsequent steel box girder sections; and S4, the steps S2 to S3 are repeated till all the steel box girder sections are assembled. The method has the advantages that the construction difficulty is low, and the construction period is correspondingly shortened.
