The invention provides a solar floating type water meter suspended matter collecting device which comprises a collecting box, a photovoltaic panel assembly, a stand column, an inclined strut, a buoy, a floater, a mooring rope and a pile foundation, the collecting box comprises a box body and a movable cover plate assembly which are connected with each other, an opening is formed in the top of the box body, and the height of a gap between a movable cover plate in the movable cover plate assembly and the opening is adjustable; the box body is connected to the buoy and is used for sucking water on the surface layer of a water area and suspended matters on the water surface, discharging filtered water and leaving the suspended matters on the water surface in the box body; the stand columns are connected to the float bowl at intervals, and the two ends of the inclined struts are connected with the stand columns and the float bowl respectively; the photovoltaic panel assembly is arranged above the stand column and supplies power to the collecting box. The pile foundation is vertically fixed to the water bottom mud surface and extends downwards, the two ends of the mooring rope are connected with the buoy and the pile foundation respectively, and the floater is connected to the middle of the mooring rope. The device can efficiently collect suspended matters on the water surface of the ecological water area, and is safe, reliable, low in cost, energy-saving and environment-friendly.
