According to the electric power maintenance warning device, by rotating a second gear, the second gear carries a ratchet baffle to the outer side, and after the position of the ratchet baffle is adjusted, the situation that the ratchet baffle interferes with the position between the gears is avoided, that is, a warning banner can continuously extend to the outer side and warn an electric power maintenance area; and when the position of the warning banner needs to be limited, a second gear is rotated, the second gear drives a ratchet baffle to be clamped outside the gear, that is, the ratchet baffle limits the position of the gear, and the situation that the gear continuously rotates to drive the warning banner to be discharged outwards is avoided.
