The side brush comprises a rotary transmission part, a soft rubber connecting part and a plurality of bristle bundles, the rotary transmission part is sleeved with the soft rubber connecting part, and the bristle bundles are arranged in the circumferential direction of the soft rubber connecting part at intervals; and the rotary transmission piece is connected with the flexible rubber connecting piece through a limiting structure. The multiple brushes are connected to the rotary transmission part through the soft rubber connecting parts, the strength and the resilience capacity of the bristle bundles are enhanced through the soft rubber connecting parts, a certain shape is kept when the side brush encounters a carpet or large garbage, and therefore the cleaning capacity of the side brush is kept. And meanwhile, the rotary transmission part and the flexible rubber connecting part are connected through the limiting structure, so that the flexible rubber connecting part is effectively prevented from being separated from the rotary transmission part in the radial direction and the axial direction, relative rotation and even falling-off between the flexible rubber connecting part and the rotary transmission part are avoided, and normal work of the side brush is guaranteed.
