An anti-falling safety device for substation roof construction is composed of construction site I-shaped steel, lug pressing plates, pressing plate screws, cotter pins, reinforcing rib plates, stand columns, U-shaped plates, U-shaped hooks, fastening nuts, steel wire ropes and large round holes. As the reinforcing rib plate, the upright post and the U-shaped plate are welded into a whole, the reinforcing rib plate is permanently not separated from the I-shaped steel on the construction site after the pressing plate screw is fastened; when the cotter pins are fastened, the stand columns cannot swing. The steel wire rope can penetrate through the U-shaped hook in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. And clamping is rapid, safety and reliability are achieved, and repeated use can be achieved after multiple newly-built stations. Personal safety is guaranteed, cost is reduced, and construction time is greatly shortened.
