The invention discloses a cold-formed thin-walled steel externally-hung composite wallboard filled with magnesium oxysulfate cement and a construction method. The cold-formed thin-walled steel externally-hung composite wallboard comprises an externally-hung wallboard body, a light wallboard body and an air isolation layer between the externally-hung wallboard body and the light wallboard body. During construction, the externally-hung wallboards are prefabricated firstly; externally-hung iron pieces are arranged at the positions, corresponding to the tops, of externally-hung wallboard frameworks of the externally-hung wallboards, limiting bolts are arranged in hollow profile steel cross beams corresponding to the bottoms, and hanging structures are arranged at the positions, close to the outdoor, of the edge of a floor top plate and used for being connected with the externally-hung wallboards, of the upper flanges of pre-embedded steel plates or steel beams on the outer sides of superposed beams connected with the externally-hung wallboards; after the process is completed, the externally-hung wallboards are fixed through the hanging structures, and every two adjacent externally-hung wallboards are in secondary waterproof flexible connection; and finally, limiting angle steel and a light wall plate are arranged on a top plate and a bottom plate of the floor, and meanwhile an air interlayer is arranged between the externally-hung wall plate and the light wall plate. According to the invention, the thermal insulation and airtight performance requirements of the building outer envelope meeting the requirements of ultra-low energy consumption buildings are realized.
