A self-saturation pore pressure probe for roadbed sounding is characterized in that a pressure liquid storage cavity combination is arranged in the pore pressure probe, and saturated liquid with pressure is stored in the pressure liquid storage cavity combination; the pressure liquid storage cavity combination is communicated with the conical head combination, saturated liquid in the pressure liquid storage cavity combination enters a pressure measuring cavity of the conical head combination under the action of pressure and then seeps out through the permeable filtering ring, and therefore it is guaranteed that the permeable filtering ring and a pore pressure system are always in a saturated state in the working process of the pore pressure probe. Therefore, the method has the advantages of high test precision, high response speed and reliable test data. Besides, the sensor structure for the conical head resistance and the side wall friction force of the pore pressure probe adopts the integral force transmission cylinder, and the integral force transmission cylinder is arranged in the friction cylinder, so that the pore pressure probe has excellent integral rigidity and strength, the service life of the pore pressure probe is prolonged, and the stability of a test result is improved.
