The invention provides a tunnel foundation pit supporting structure and a construction method thereof.The tunnel foundation pit supporting structure comprises a supporting rod steel pipe, connecting steel pipes are detachably and fixedly arranged at the two ends of the supporting steel pipe, and supporting plates are fixedly arranged at the ends, away from the supporting steel pipe, of the connecting steel pipes; a supporting groove used for containing a jack is formed in the side, away from the connecting steel pipe, of the supporting plate, sliding barrels are symmetrically arranged on the portions, on the two sides of the supporting groove, of the supporting plate, supporting legs are arranged in the sliding barrels in a sliding mode, inserting openings are formed in the tops of the supporting legs, and a supporting plate is inserted into the inserting openings.
