The invention discloses a grooving construction method for a groove-wall-free reinforced underground diaphragm wall in an old urban area of an overtown area of Yangtze River, which comprises the following steps: S1, treating a surface unfavorable geological soil layer: carrying out plain soil layered replacement and filling on a to-be-constructed area with poor surface geology, and compacting by adopting a small road roller or an impact vibrating rammer; s2, a guide wall is manufactured, specifically, the guide wall is formed through foundation trench excavation, paying-off marking, formwork building and concrete pouring, and an upper wood brace support and a lower wood brace support are additionally arranged in the foundation trench of the guide wall; sodium bentonite is adopted for making slurry, and heavy sodium carbonate, medium-viscosity CMC and barite serve as doping materials; S4, grooving construction is conducted, specifically, grooving operation is conducted through mechanical equipment according to the grooving design depth, conditions are created for guide wall construction through surface unfavorable geological soil layer treatment, the wall protection slurry performance is improved by optimizing wall protection slurry configuration, and the construction efficiency is improved; and a measure of increasing the liquid level of the slurry is combined, so that the wall protection effect of the slurry is ensured.
