Provided is a neutron beam shielding gypsum-based building board comprising: gypsum; a boron-containing material containing 1.0-120 parts by mass (inclusive) of boron per 100 parts by mass of the gypsum; and 0.05-2.0 parts by mass (inclusive) of a water reducing agent per 100 parts by mass of the gypsum, and the boron-containing material contains one or more substances selected from the group consisting of calcium borate, boron carbide, boric acid, boron oxide, sodium borate, and calcium boride, and has a dry specific gravity of 0.65-1.6 (inclusive).
