The invention discloses an airport drainage chute and a setting method thereof, and relates to an airport drainage system. The drainage chute is arranged on a steep slope section between an upstream drainage ditch and a downstream drainage ditch and comprises a chute body, hedging energy dissipation transverse strips, a chute bottom plate and a chute cushion layer, the upper end of the chute body is connected with the upstream drainage ditch, the lower end of the chute body is connected with the downstream drainage ditch, and the chute bottom plate is arranged at the bottom of the chute body. A chute cushion layer is arranged between the chute bottom plate and the slope surface of the abrupt slope section; the hedging energy dissipation transverse strips are in a V shape and are fixed to the chute bottom plate at equal intervals, the ends of the two ends of each hedging energy dissipation transverse strip are connected with the inner wall of the chute body, and the distance between the ends of every two adjacent hedging energy dissipation transverse strips is equal.
