The self-adjusting device comprises a left anti-drag pressure-adjusting energy-saving device body and a right anti-drag pressure-adjusting energy-saving device body which are installed on the two sides of the middle of the elevator shaft, and each anti-drag pressure-adjusting energy-saving device body further comprises a displacement sensor, a controller, a speed monitoring device, a wind shield, an adjusting plate and a power generation fan. The displacement sensor monitors the position of a lift car in real time and sends a displacement signal to the controller, the speed monitoring device monitors the wind speed in a shaft in real time and sends a wind speed signal to the controller, and the controller sends a control signal to the left/right resistance-reducing pressure-regulating energy-saving device. And the left/right resistance-reducing voltage-regulating energy-saving device controls the inclination angle of the regulating plate, the size of the ventilation area and the angle of the power generation fan. According to the resistance-reducing, pressure-regulating and energy-saving self-regulating device for the elevator shaft and the regulating method of the self-regulating device, the pneumatic resistance borne by the lift car can be effectively reduced, the air strength of the piston in the shaft is reduced, and the overall safety of an elevator is improved.
