本发明提出了一种陶泥及其制备方法,属于陶泥技术领域。包括65‑75%主料和25‑35%配料,其特征在于,所述主料为底土、或底土与潮土的混合土,配料为粘土和耐高温改性高岭土,质量比为5‑10:12。本发明耐高温改性高岭土通过酸液对高岭土进行预处理,使得高岭土表面含有丰富的羟基基团,进一步在铝酸酯偶联剂的改性作用下,制得的改性高岭土表面接上丰富的铝酸酯基团,从而加入异丙醇铝的有机溶剂后,能够在高岭土表面形成一层氢氧化铝壳层,经过煅烧后形成氧化铝层,因此,制得的耐高温改性高岭土具有极好的耐高温性能,加入陶泥中,能明显提高陶泥的耐高温、稳定性,从而能够制得的均一、起泡含量少等陶瓷制品,具有广阔的应用前景。
