The invention relates to a preparation method of a low-cost boron carbide ceramic composite material, which comprises the following steps: S1, uniformly mixing boric acid powder and carbon black, carrying out compression molding, and then carrying out pre-dehydration; s2, the pre-dehydrated powder is subjected to a carbon thermal reduction reaction, and boron carbide or boron carbide-C powder is synthesized; s3, uniformly mixing the powder synthesized in the step S2 with a binder, carrying out compression molding, and drying to obtain a porous ceramic biscuit; and S4, carrying out vacuum infiltration by taking the biscuit as a framework and silicon as an infiltration agent to obtain the boron carbide ceramic composite material. The preparation method disclosed by the invention is simple in steps and low in infiltration temperature, the boron carbide ceramic composite material with high density can be obtained under the condition of relatively low preparation cost, the material has the characteristics of relatively low volume density and excellent comprehensive mechanical property, the production cost is low, the process is simple, the infiltration temperature is relatively low, the preparation period is short, and the efficiency is high; and the preparation method can be used for producing various products with complex shapes.
本发明涉及一种低成本碳化硼陶瓷复合材料的制备方法,其包括S1、将硼酸粉体与炭黑混合均匀,模压成型后进行预脱水;S2、将预脱水后的粉体进行碳热还原反应,合成碳化硼或碳化硼‑C粉体;S3、将步骤S2合成的粉体与粘结剂混合均匀,模压成型,干燥后获得多孔陶瓷素坯;S4、将素坯作为骨架,以硅作为熔渗剂,进行真空熔渗,获得碳化硼陶瓷复合材料。本发明的制备方法步骤简单、熔渗温度低,在较低制备成本的条件下能够获得致密度高的碳化硼陶瓷复合材料,该材料体积密度较低,综合力学性能优良的特点,生产成本低而且工艺简单、熔渗温度较低、制备周期短、效率高;并且本发明的制备方法能够生产各种形状复杂的产品。
