The invention provides a caisson for a sludge riverbed. The caisson comprises an outer layer box and an inner layer box, at least part of the inner-layer box is located on the outer-layer box, and the inner-layer box and the outer-layer box are connected in a sliding mode in the first direction; the electromagnetic locking mechanism comprises a horizontal plate, and the horizontal plate is telescopically arranged in the inner layer box in the second direction; after the electromagnetic locking mechanism is powered on, the horizontal plate extends out of the inner layer box in the second direction and is inserted into external sludge, so that the contact area of the caisson and the sludge on the horizontal plane is increased. An electromagnetic locking mechanism is arranged, the electromagnetic locking mechanism drives a horizontal plate to move by electrifying the electromagnetic locking mechanism, and the horizontal plate is inserted into sludge, so that the contact area of the device and the sludge on the horizontal plane can be increased, the situation that the caisson shakes, inclines or moves after sinking into the sludge is prevented, and then the stability of the caisson is guaranteed.
