The invention discloses a drainage device driven by a water pump and a closestool with the drainage device. The drainage device comprises a water tank, a drainage valve and the water pump. The drainage valve is arranged in the water tank and comprises a valve body with a drainage port, a movable part movably arranged in the valve body and a water stopping mechanism, the movable part and the valve body define a negative pressure cavity, a sealing disc is formed at the bottom end of the movable part or connected with the bottom end of the movable part, and the drainage port is opened or closed through the sealing disc; the water pump is provided with a water inlet and at least one water outlet, the water inlet is communicated with the negative pressure cavity through a communication channel, and on-off of the communication channel is controlled by the water stop mechanism; when the movable part is located at the falling position to control the drainage port to be closed, the water stopping mechanism communicates with the communicating channel; when the water pump sucks water in the negative pressure cavity through the communicating channel, the movable part moves upwards to open the water outlet, and when the movable part moves upwards to the preset height, the water stopping mechanism is driven to cut off the communicating channel. The water discharge control is not influenced by the opening and closing state of the water pump, and the structure is simple.
