The technical problem of the present invention is to prevent rain and snow from entering a replenishment port by using a protection member without impairing the connectivity of an energy replenishment gun with respect to the replenishment port. A drive device for a guard member for an energy supply port is provided with: a guard member capable of advancing and retreating between an advancing position for covering a supply port for supplying energy to a vehicle, which is disposed so as to be exposed at a vehicle-body-side opening, from above, and a retreating position for retreating from above the supply port; a guard drive unit that moves the guard member forward and backward between a forward position and a backward position; a gun connection detection unit that detects whether or not the energy supply gun is connected to the supply port; and a control unit that, when the guard member is in the retracted position and the gun connection detection unit detects that the energy supply gun is connected to the supply port, causes the guard drive unit to execute a forward drive that causes the guard member to advance from the retracted position to the forward position.
