The artware mortar is prepared from the following raw materials: 700-900 parts of cement; 1350 to 1500 parts of fine aggregate; 20-35 parts of a water reducing agent; 20 to 35 parts of rubber powder; 5-9 parts of cellulose ether; 350 to 450 parts of water; and an organic solvent. The artware mortar is prepared from raw materials of building materials, and the artware mortar has the advantages of being good in corrosion resistance, high in crack resistance and resistant to abrasion and collision. The artware mortar disclosed by the invention is prepared from low-cost building raw materials, so that the manufacturing cost for manufacturing artware is greatly reduced. The organic solvent is added into the handicraft mortar to serve as a surface coating, so that the surface of the handicraft mortar can be kept wet, the handicraft mortar can be prevented from sticking to hands in the handicraft manufacturing operation process, the shaping operation process in the handicraft manufacturing process is simplified, and the handicraft manufacturing time is greatly optimized.
