The invention discloses a steel beam pushing transverse deviation correction system and method, and relates to the technical field of steel beam construction. The steel beam pushing transverse deviation correction system comprises a detection device and a pushing device; the detection device is used for detecting the transverse deviation and longitudinal coordinates of the center position of the front end of the steel beam and the transverse deviation of the intersection point of the steel beam design longitudinal axis and the steel beam transverse center line at the pier so as to determine the longitudinal coordinates of the deviation zero point of the steel beam; the pushing device is electrically connected with the detection device, the pushing device comprises a plurality of pushing assemblies, the pushing assemblies are arranged below webs on the two sides of the steel beam, and the pushing assemblies are used for transversely and/or longitudinally pushing the steel beam to correct transverse deviation of the steel beam according to the longitudinal coordinates of the deviation zero point of the steel beam. By means of the method, the transverse deviation in the steel beam pushing process can be accurately detected in real time, accurate transverse deviation correction is conducted according to the detection result, and safety and quality in the steel beam construction process are guaranteed.
