The installation method comprises the following steps: measuring a positioning snapping line; mounting the auxiliary mounting device; the whole curtain wall frame is hoisted and placed on the auxiliary mounting device through a crane; an operator adjusts the in-out and up-and-down positions of the whole curtain wall frame by controlling the auxiliary mounting device; positioning the whole curtain wall frame through an adapter on the whole curtain wall frame and the determined position after measurement; an operator corrects the whole frame of the curtain wall; opposite-penetrating screw rods are mounted at the fixed positions of the adapters and the whole frame and are tightened; and the installation position and the installation stability are rechecked, and then installation of the frame type curtain wall is completed. Installation personnel can adjust up and down and go in and out through the device in a floor to solve the problem of positioning, the installation efficiency is adjusted to three frames every day from original manual installation of one frame every day, the working efficiency is improved, the working time of the installation personnel on a hanging basket is shortened due to improvement of the installation efficiency of the whole frame of each frame, and potential safety hazards are reduced. And the expenditure of hanging basket renting is indirectly reduced.
