The invention relates to a curtain wall component and a curtain wall system. The curtain wall system comprises two adjacent curtain wall components. The curtain wall component comprises a steel frame, the steel frame comprises a plurality of first U-shaped channel steel arranged side by side, the first U-shaped channel steel is provided with inner turned edges opposite to each other, and a material strip is fixed on at least one leg of the first U-shaped channel steel; the concrete pouring body is poured on the first side of the steel frame, and a cavity of the first U-shaped channel steel is filled with concrete; the thermal insulation material is arranged in a receiving space defined by the U-shaped channel steel and the material strip, and the thermal insulation material is adjacent to the concrete pouring body; and the covering layer is arranged on the second side of the steel frame, covers the steel frame, the material strip and the heat preservation material, has a lower heat conductivity coefficient than the steel frame, and is fixed on at least one of the steel frame, the material strip and the heat preservation material. The curtain wall component is thin in thickness and good in heat preservation performance.
