The invention relates to a feed for forming a ceramic ferrule as well as preparation and application of the feed, and belongs to the technical field of ceramic materials. The feed for forming the ceramic ferrule comprises zirconium oxide powder and an additive, wherein the additive comprises polyamide modified phenolic resin, polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylic acid, oxidized polyethlene wax, microcrystalline wax and an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. According to the invention, by adjusting the additive components in the feed raw material formula and the proportion thereof, the compatibility among the components of the additive is improved, the coating property of the additive on zirconium oxide powder is improved, and the feed prepared by mixing has good fluidity and shape retention; the feed provided by the invention has the characteristics of easiness in molding, small residual stress of a molded blank, small deformation, low molding pressure and the like, and the high-density and high-strength ceramic ferrule is prepared through injection molding, water extraction, glue removal and sintering.
