The invention provides a bridge anti-collision device based on a flexible composite structure and an installation method thereof.The device comprises an outer steel jacket box, an inner steel jacket box, elastic ropes, buffer pieces and foam buoyancy tanks, the outer steel jacket box and the inner steel jacket box are each formed by connecting a plurality of lattice boxes in a surrounding mode to form a full-surrounding-shaped frame, the buffer pieces are installed on the two sides of the outer portion of the outer steel jacket box respectively, and the foam buoyancy tanks are installed on the outer steel jacket box. The inner steel jacket box is located in the outer steel jacket box, a plurality of tensioned elastic ropes are connected between the inner side of the outer steel jacket box and the inner steel jacket box, and the foam floating box is installed at the bottom of the inner steel jacket box. The device is suitable for an anti-collision facility of a bridge pier in a navigable water area, compared with an existing anti-collision structure, 15%-35% of ship body collision force can be reduced, a ship body can be deflected when the ship body collides, the ship body can be better protected, and the device is simple in structure, convenient and fast to install and suitable for popularization.
