The invention discloses a lifting mechanism, a shelter and a lifting control method.The lifting mechanism comprises a supporting leg oil cylinder, a supporting leg frame, an outer layer frame, an inner layer frame and at least two flexible traction pieces, a cylinder body of the supporting leg oil cylinder is fixed in the supporting leg frame, a piston rod is hinged to the top of the outer layer frame, and the supporting leg frame is arranged in the outer layer frame in a sleeved mode; an inner-layer frame is sleeved with the supporting leg frame, the supporting leg frame and the outer-layer frame as well as the outer-layer frame and the inner-layer frame can relatively slide in the telescopic direction of the supporting leg oil cylinder, one end of one flexible traction piece is fixed to the lower end of the outer-layer frame, and the other end of the flexible traction piece bypasses the top of the supporting leg frame to be connected with the top of the inner-layer frame; one end of the other flexible traction piece is fixed to the lower end of the outer-layer frame, and the other end of the flexible traction piece bypasses the bottom of the supporting leg frame to be connected with the top of the inner-layer frame. The two-stage telescopic lifting mechanism is compact in structure, an oil cylinder with a shorter stroke and a smaller size can be selected according to the same lifting height of two-stage telescopic lifting, and the total height of the square cabin is effectively reduced.
