The invention discloses a preparation method of a high-strength aluminum oxide ceramic material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) weighing raw materials: respectively weighing alpha-phase aluminum oxide and ferrotitanium slag; (2) mixing: uniformly mixing the alpha-phase aluminum oxide weighed in the step (1) with the titanium-iron slag; (3) granulating and aging: adding an adhesive, and granulating and aging the raw materials which are uniformly mixed in the step (2); (4) molding: molding the granulation material obtained in the step (3) to obtain a ceramic green body; and (5) sintering: sintering the ceramic green body obtained in the step (4) to obtain the ceramic material. According to the preparation method of the high-strength aluminum oxide ceramic material, the high-strength aluminum oxide ceramic material is prepared at a relatively low sintering temperature, and relatively high economic and environmental benefits are achieved.
