The invention discloses a wheel excavator which comprises a rear frame and a front frame, the rear frame is hinged to the front frame, and steering air cylinders are symmetrically installed between the two sides of the rear frame and the two sides of the front frame. A cab and an engine room are arranged on the rear frame; a rotary support driven by a hydraulic rotary motor is mounted at the upper part of the front frame; a large arm mounting seat is fixed on the rotary support, a digging arm assembly is fixed on the large arm mounting seat, and a dozer blade assembly is further mounted at the front end of the front frame. By the adoption of the split type design and structure, the rotary support only needs to drive the digging arm assembly to rotate, the size and power needed by the rotary support independently driving the digging arm assembly to rotate are smaller, meanwhile, the front frame can rotate relative to the rear frame, and the structure is simple. And a proper angle can be formed between the front frame and the rear frame during working, so that a driver can conveniently observe from the side surface, and the operability and the flexibility of the whole equipment are improved.
