The invention discloses an adjustable steel bar connecting piece which comprises two mechanical sleeves used for being in threaded connection with steel bars to be connected and a flexible connecting piece used for connecting the two mechanical sleeves, a circular steel plate is arranged at the end of each mechanical sleeve, and a through hole allowing the flexible connecting piece to pass through is formed in each circular steel plate. The size of the through hole is larger than that of the middle section of the flexible connecting piece and smaller than that of the end sections at the two ends of the flexible connecting piece; and after the mechanical sleeve and the steel bar to be connected are screwed in place, the flexible connecting piece is in a tensioning state. According to the adjustable steel bar connecting piece, connection of the upper steel bar and the lower steel bar to be connected can still be achieved when the steel bars are dislocated, the defect that connection cannot be achieved when the steel bars are dislocated in a traditional connecting mode is overcome, and the connecting strength of the steel bars is guaranteed.
