The invention relates to a panel (100, 101) comprising: a centrally disposed core (113), at least one first coupling portion (107) and at least one second coupling portion (108) respectively connected to opposite edges (104, 105) of the core; the first coupling portion comprises: an upward tongue (114); at least one upward flank (115) located at a distance from the upward tongue; and an upward groove (116) formed between the upward tongue and the upward flank, wherein the upward groove is adapted to receive at least a portion of a downward tongue (125) of a second coupling portion of an adjacent panel; the second coupling portion includes: a downward tongue; at least one downward wing (126) located at a distance from the downward tongue; and a downward groove (127) formed between the downward tongue and the downward flank, wherein the downward groove is adapted to receive at least a portion of the upward tongue of the first coupling portion of an adjacent panel.
