The invention relates to the technical field of expansion joint structures, in particular to a road and bridge expansion joint which comprises a filling assembly and a foundation used for laying a road body. The filling assembly comprises a limiting block, a pressing plate, two sliding plates, two sets of first springs, a sealing plate, a supporting plate, two fixed plates and two movable plates. A mounting groove is formed in the foundation; a gap between the adjacent road main bodies is an expansion joint; the limiting block is mounted in the mounting groove; the pressing plate is mounted on the limiting block; a pressing plate is mounted on the supporting plate; the two sliding plates are located on the two sides of the supporting plate correspondingly, the two sliding plates are slidably connected with the pressing plate, and the sliding plates are connected with the supporting plate through first springs. The two movable plates are installed on the upper end faces of the two sliding plates correspondingly. The sealing plate is detachably mounted on the two sliding plates; the two fixing plates are installed on the bottom face of the sealing plate side by side. The expansion joint between the adjacent road main bodies can be conveniently and rapidly filled, so that the expansion joint can adapt to deformation of the road main bodies.
