The invention provides a steel strand binding wire automatic binding device which comprises a binding assembly, the binding assembly comprises a first supporting frame, a second supporting frame and a steel strand inlet, a rotating ring is connected to one side of the steel strand inlet, and a binding wire roller is connected to the rotating ring; the driving assembly comprises a first stepping motor and a driving shaft; the binding wire clamping assembly comprises a first driving air cylinder, a first clamping air cylinder and a first clamping plate; the binding wire tightening assembly comprises a second driving air cylinder, a driving plate and a second stepping motor, the output end of the second stepping motor is connected with a second clamping air cylinder, the output end of the second clamping air cylinder is provided with second clamping plates, and the two second clamping plates are provided with oppositely-arranged cutting blades respectively. According to the steel strand bundling device, automatic bundling of steel strands can be achieved, the bundling efficiency of the steel strands is greatly improved, and meanwhile the situation that workers are punctured by bundling wires is avoided.
