The present application relates to a building structural assembly comprising a metal structural column (2) having a support member (13) at a free end; the invention relates to a building structural assembly (1) comprising a free end of a metal structural column (2) and comprising a cork connection (3) comprising a first portion (21) and a second portion (22) configured to be inserted from the free end of the metal structural column into a cavity (15) of the metal structural column in a state in which the cork connection is mounted at the free end of the metal structural column, and the first portion is supported on the support member. The invention further relates to a roof system which comprises a floor plate and a plurality of building structure assemblies, and the metal structure columns of the building structure assemblies extend out of the floor plate and are distributed on the floor plate. An energy-saving, heat-insulating roof system can be achieved by means of such a building structure assembly, in which the cork connection can achieve a cold and hot break bridge.
