The invention discloses a filtration, storage, irrigation and drainage type planting roof which comprises a water storage system, a drainage system, a filtration system, an irrigation system and a planting system. The water storage system comprises a water storage and drainage ditch located in the middle of the roof. The drainage system is connected with the water storage drainage ditch; the lower part of the drainage ditch is connected with the pressurizing water tank; the filtering system comprises an inclined drainage pipe, a fine sand filtering layer and a gravel filtering layer; the lowest end of the drainage pipe is communicated with the water storage and drainage ditch, and water filtering holes and a non-woven fabric filtering layer are arranged on the drainage pipe; the irrigating system comprises an irrigating main pipe, a pressurizing water tank and irrigating water pipes; and the irrigation water pipe is buried in planting soil of the planting system. The invention further provides a construction method of the filtration, storage, irrigation and drainage type planting roof. The roof has four functions of filtration, storage, irrigation and drainage, the problems of water seepage and water leakage of the roof are reduced, and water pipe blockage caused by soil loss is avoided.
