The sand and stone discharging device comprises an air storage bin, a sand and stone discharging pipe set and a sand and stone transferring mechanism, the bottom of the air storage bin is open, the air storage bin is used for being buried in a water body on the inner side of a dam body of the hydropower station, and the air pressure in the air storage bin divides the interior of the air storage bin into an air cavity located above the water surface and a water cavity located below the water surface; the inlet end of the gravel discharging pipe set communicates with the air cavity, a valve set is arranged on the gravel discharging pipe set, the outlet end of the gravel discharging pipe set is used for extending to the outer side of the dam body of the hydropower station, the valve set is used for preventing air pressure in the air storage bin from leaking, and the gravel transferring mechanism is arranged in the air storage bin. The sand and stone transferring mechanism is used for transferring sand and stone at the bottom of the water cavity into an inlet of the sand and stone discharging pipe set. According to the equipment, sand and stone are separated from a water body in the sand discharging process, the water body cannot be discharged in the sand and stone discharging process, and the technical problem that an existing sand and stone discharging device can discharge a large amount of water body when used is effectively solved.
