The invention discloses a building canopy which comprises the components of a canopy which has a wave-shaped cross section along the length direction; the rainwater collecting system comprises a water guide groove which is arranged below the canopy and arranged in the length direction of the canopy, and the water guide groove is communicated with each low-lying position of the canopy; the water storage tank is communicated with the water chute through a collecting pipe; the water spraying pipe is arranged above the canopy and extends in the length direction of the canopy, the water spraying pipe is communicated with the water storage tank through a water conveying pipe, a plurality of nozzles are arranged at the bottom of the water spraying pipe in the length direction of the canopy at intervals, and each nozzle faces the canopy; a water pump is arranged on the water pipe. Collection and utilization of rainwater can be achieved through the rainwater collection system, and the collected rainwater is used for cleaning the canopy; the moving mechanism can drive the water spraying pipe to move above the canopy, so that the cleaning range of the nozzle can cover the whole canopy, and sanitation dead angles are avoided; and the windshield wiper is arranged on the water spraying pipe, the surface of the canopy can be washed, and the cleanliness of the canopy can be further guaranteed.
