The invention provides a safe connecting device for a steel frame bridge, which comprises a traction steel cable which is vertically arranged, the lower end of the traction steel cable is pre-buried and fixed on the bridge, and the upper end of the traction steel cable is connected with a truss positioned above the bridge; the accessory support is pre-buried and fixed on a bridge, and a cross supporting part connected with the traction steel cable in an abutting manner is formed at the top of the accessory support; and the damping device is assembled between the traction steel cable and the transverse supporting part and is used for generating elastic deformation when the traction steel cable vibrates horizontally. According to the safe connecting device for the steel frame bridge, the damping device is additionally arranged between the traction steel cable and the accessory support, the high-frequency vibration capacity of the traction steel cable is absorbed in an elastic deformation mode, and therefore the vibration frequency and amplitude of the traction steel cable are reduced; the problem that in the prior art, a traction steel cable is prone to high-frequency vibration due to the adverse effect of transverse wind is solved, and the purpose of improving the structural stability of the steel-framed bridge is achieved.
