A non-support construction method for a steel truss bridge comprises the steps that an on-site ground assembling jig frame is built on a construction site, all beam sections of the steel truss bridge are transported to the construction site from a processing plant, and all the beam sections of the steel truss bridge are welded, riveted and assembled on the on-site ground assembling jig frame; after the assembly of the steel truss bridge is completed on the ground, the erection of the steel truss bridge on the bridge piers is completed through a double-crane lifting method; according to the non-support construction method for the steel truss bridge, the traditional construction process of building a high-altitude supporting frame is omitted, so that the construction period is greatly shortened, the construction cost is greatly reduced, and the construction safety is greatly improved; and meanwhile, when the beam sections of the steel truss bridge are bolted, welded and spliced on the ground, the measurement and the adjustment of the splicing linearity of the steel truss bridge are more convenient, so that the construction difficulty is reduced, and the construction efficiency and the construction quality are also greatly improved.
