The invention provides a foundation pit adjacent bridge protection structure which comprises a plurality of sleeve valve pipes arranged around a pier column bearing platform, steel pipe isolation piles, a foundation pit support, a top beam and a supporting beam, the sleeve valve pipes form an inner grouting area, and the steel pipe isolation piles are arranged along the foundation pit side of the inner grouting area and at least two remaining sides of the inner grouting area. The foundation pit support is arranged along the foundation pit side of the steel pipe isolation pile, the supporting beam comprises a fixing part and a supporting part which is arranged on one side of the fixing part and used for supporting a pier column bearing platform, a first opening is formed in the foundation pit support, a second opening is formed in the steel pipe isolation pile, the fixing part is arranged in the first opening, and the supporting part penetrates through the second opening and wraps a bridge pile foundation adjacent to the supporting part. The top end of the supporting part abuts against the bottom end of the pier column bearing platform. The invention further provides a foundation pit construction method. The combination of the protection structure and the construction method aims to reduce the disturbance of excavation of the foundation pit to the adjacent bridge, improve the stability of the bridge, facilitate the construction of the foundation pit and ensure the construction safety of the area.
