The invention discloses an intelligent seal provided with a lock control device and capable of limiting the stamping range and a cover stealing prevention method of the intelligent seal. The lower shell is arranged in the upper shell in a sliding manner; the communication chip is used for receiving an authorization instruction; the infrared receiver is used for receiving an infrared instruction of a limited area; the electric control device is electrically connected with the communication chip and the infrared receiver; the motor lock is electrically connected with the electric control device and is provided with a lock bolt; a lock groove is formed in the position, corresponding to the lock bolt, of the outer side face of the lower shell, and the electric control device controls the motor lock to act based on an authorization instruction and a limited area infrared instruction which are received at the same time, so that the lock bolt is separated from the lock groove. The locking state of the upper shell and the locking state of the lower shell can be unlocked only when the authorization instruction and the limited area infrared instruction are received at the same time, so that the seal in the lower shell is used, the safety performance is remarkably improved, and the seal cover is effectively prevented from being stolen.
