The invention relates to a treatment method for an arch expansion crack of an asphalt pavement. The asphalt pavement comprises an asphalt pavement structure and a pre-cutting joint; the asphalt pavement structure comprises a structural layer and a base layer, the structural layer is divided into an upper surface layer and a lower surface layer, the upper surface layer is made of modified asphalt concrete, the lower surface layer is made of asphalt concrete, and the structural layer is arranged above the base layer; the pre-cutting seam is arranged on the base layer; calculating a temperature drop allowable value and a temperature rise condition under which a base layer does not crack according to the influence of parameters of temperature and humidity, and preventing the asphalt pavement from cracking according to temperature limitation; the invention aims to solve the technical problem of pavement cracking caused by temperature difference in the prior art.
