The invention discloses a device and method for erecting a steel truss aqueduct of a small-section asymmetric beam arch system. The device comprises a vehicle body, a lifting arm is installed on the vehicle body, a hoisting mechanism is installed at the end, away from the vehicle body, of the lifting arm, a clamping mechanism is installed at the bottom of the hoisting mechanism, a winding mechanism is installed on the vehicle body, and a lifting rope is installed between the winding mechanism and the hoisting mechanism. A limiting device and a three-way jack adjusting device are installed on a rigid support, divided small sections are hoisted and installed, matching pieces are arranged on the inner side of an empty box of an all-welding device, matching pieces, guide blocks and the like are arranged on the outer side of the empty box for connection, temporary fixing is conducted through a stacking plate after connection, component installation is completed, hoisting equipment is withdrawn out of a bridge floor, and welding personnel conduct welding in a symmetrical mode. The'rear end 'is firstly welded and fixed between the installed sections, so that the front end freely stretches out and draws back, and stress-free welding is achieved.
