The invention discloses a coating system for building construction and a using method thereof. The coating system comprises a base, a cooling storage device and a lifting device are arranged at the top of the base, a moving plate is arranged at the execution end of the lifting device, a protective spraying device is arranged at the bottom of the moving plate, and a secondary protective device is arranged at the top of the moving plate. The cooling storage device comprises a storage barrel arranged at the top of the base, a feeding hole formed in the top of the storage barrel, and a cooling storage part arranged in the storage barrel; the protective spraying device comprises a material pumping part located on the top of the base, a first conveying pipe with one end connected with the material discharging end of the material pumping part and the other end connected with the bottom of the movable plate, and a protective spraying part arranged at the end, away from the material pumping part, of the first conveying pipe. The secondary protection device comprises a degradation agent spraying part and a drying part which are sequentially arranged at the top of the moving plate. According to the device, a safety protection structure is conveniently arranged when the device works, and the safety of operators is conveniently guaranteed.
