The invention relates to a system for actively controlling deformation of a foundation pit and a construction method thereof.The system comprises a foundation pit enclosure wall (1), a grouting device (2), anti-sidesway piles (3) and a barrier reinforcing body (4), the grouting device (2) is arranged on the foundation pit enclosure wall (1), the foundation pit enclosure wall (1) is arranged on the outer side of the foundation pit, and the barrier reinforcing body (4) is arranged on the inner side of the foundation pit. The anti-sidesway piles (3) penetrate through the barrier reinforcing body (4) and are inserted into a soil layer at the lower part of the barrier reinforcing body (4); the barrier reinforcing body (4) comprises a back reinforcing part (41) and a top sealing reinforcing part (42), a gap is reserved between the back reinforcing part (41) and the foundation pit enclosure wall (1), and the top sealing reinforcing part (42) is connected with the foundation pit enclosure wall (1) and the back reinforcing part (41). Compared with the prior art, the grouting technology is utilized in the foundation pit construction period, horizontal extrusion force is provided for the foundation pit enclosure wall, and then horizontal deformation of the wall is actively controlled.
