The invention discloses a buffering closing mechanism and a door and window buffering closing mechanism. The buffering closing mechanism comprises a track, a buffering driving assembly, a first clamping sliding block and a second clamping sliding block. The buffering driving assembly is installed in the rail, the first clamping sliding block is installed at one end of the rail in a sliding mode, and the second clamping sliding block is installed at the other end of the rail in a sliding mode. The first clamping sliding block and the second clamping sliding block are in linkage with the buffering end of the buffering driving assembly. In the sliding closing process of the first clamping sliding block, the buffering driving assembly provides buffering moving force for the first clamping sliding block when the moving object is closed so that the moving object can be slowly closed. The first clamping sliding block moves by a preset distance during sliding opening and then is clamped with the second clamping sliding block, the second clamping sliding block is driven to move through inertia force generated when the moving object moves to be opened, the second clamping sliding block drives the first clamping sliding block to move, and the first clamping sliding block overcomes resistance of the buffering driving assembly and resets.
