The invention discloses a method for preparing high-quality nano calcium carbonate from limestone ore, which comprises the following steps: calcining limestone into high-activity calcium oxide, hydrating high-activity lime with the content of more than 80% to prepare a high-activity calcium hydroxide emulsion, introducing CO2 gas into the high-activity calcium hydroxide emulsion, and stirring to obtain high-quality nano calcium carbonate. The high-quality nano calcium carbonate can be prepared by directly carrying out carbonization absorption and carrying out impurity removal, filtration and drying, the whiteness can reach 95% or above, and the purity can reach 98% or above. On the basis of preparing high-activity lime by calcining limestone, the high-activity calcium hydroxide emulsion is prepared by digestion, and then the high-activity calcium hydroxide emulsion is used for directly capturing CO2 by a one-step method to prepare the high-quality nano calcium carbonate. The method is short in technological process, low in cost, high in efficiency, free of additive introduction in the process, recyclable in aqueous solution, free of waste discharge, green and environment-friendly.
