The NPR surface wave isolation resonator comprises a top concrete cap, a first NPR frame layer, a steel column, a second NPR frame layer, a bottom concrete cap and a concrete packaging box. The first NPR frame layer and the second NPR frame layer are formed by splicing negative Poisson's ratio solid structures which are made of rubber materials and have the negative Poisson's ratio effect and are embedded between the concrete caps and the steel column.
