The vertical ladder comprises a vertical rod, the vertical ladder further comprises a fixing assembly, the fixing assembly comprises a guide rod, the guide rod is connected with the vertical rod, and the guide rod extends in the height direction of the vertical rod; one end of the clamp assembly is connected with the guide rod in a sliding mode so that the clamp assembly can move in the axial direction of the guide rod, and a clamping mechanism is arranged at the other end of the clamp assembly. On one hand, the clamp assembly can be limited in the guide rod, and on the other hand, the clamp assembly can slide in the interval of the guide rod so as to adapt to application of to-be-fixed parts with different heights; one end of the clamp assembly is in sliding connection with the guide rod, and the other end of the clamp assembly is provided with a clamping mechanism fixed with a to-be-fixed part, so that a high falling accident caused by sliding or rollover of the vertical ladder can be prevented.
