The invention discloses a device and method for measuring the depth of an artificial texture structure by using a sanding method, the device comprises a rectangular plate groove, the periphery of the rectangular plate groove is provided with surrounding plates, the surrounding plates comprise n adjacent fixed surrounding plates and 4-n movable surrounding plates, and n is equal to 2 and 3; the surface of the rectangular plate groove is provided with a movable groove channel allowing the movable surrounding plate to move horizontally. A plurality of sand leakage holes are further formed between the rectangular plate groove and the movable surrounding plate; the method comprises the following steps: fixing an artificial texture pavement slab in a rectangular slab groove; the volume of sand on the artificial texture pavement slab is measured through a sand paving method, and redundant sand is collected in the sand tank through the sand leaking holes; and calculating the construction depth of the artificial texture pavement slab. By the adoption of the device and method, waste can be avoided, a site can be kept clean, and the influence caused by the irregular periphery of the printed artificial texture pavement slab can be made up.
