A suspension type monorail turnout relates to the field of rail transit and comprises a movable beam, a first side beam, a second side beam, a first side beam, a second side beam, a second side beam, a third side beam and a fourth side beam. The movable beam is movably arranged between the first side beam and the second side beam to define two switchable driving channels. The movable beam comprises a rotating beam, a driven beam and a connecting rod, one end of the rotating beam is rotatably connected with the frog assembly, the other end of the rotating beam is rotatably connected with one end of the driven beam, one end of the connecting rod is rotatably connected with one end of the driven beam, and the other end of the connecting rod is rotatably connected with the frog assembly; the rotating beam swings to drive the driven beam to transversely move in the width direction of the driving channel through the connecting rod. According to the invention, the walking surface of the channel can be quickly compensated, and after compensation is completed, a locking device is not required to be additionally arranged, and a compensation plate and a transmission structure are not required to be additionally arranged; the track changing efficiency of the turnout is improved, and the turnout is simple in structure and convenient to maintain.
