The invention discloses a construction method for excavating complex soil through a cutter suction dredger. The construction method comprises the following steps that firstly, geological exploration is conducted on a construction area to be excavated; 2, a cutter suction dredger is in place, sludge on the geological surface layer is excavated, and a sludge bottom layer which is 1-2 m thick away from the interface of the sludge and clay is reserved and not excavated; 3, a clay layer surface layer is excavated, and excavation is conducted in the mode that a 1-2 m thick silt bottom layer and a 2 m thick clay surface layer are excavated in a mixed mode, wherein the silt bottom layer and the clay surface layer are reserved during silt excavation; fourthly, excavation is conducted in the mode that a clay remaining bottom layer and a medium-coarse sand surface layer with the thickness being 1-2 m are excavated in a mixed mode; and 5, excavating the medium-coarse sand, wherein the excavation depth of the medium-coarse sand is determined according to the thickness of the medium-coarse sand and the scale of the cutter suction dredger. According to the construction method, the conveying efficiency of clay in complex geology can be greatly improved, the risks of pipe blockage and pipe explosion are reduced, and the construction period is greatly shortened.
