The invention relates to a stable gravel pavement base material based on iron-selected red mud. The stable gravel pavement base material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 40-50 parts of red mud modified powder, 10-25 parts of fine aggregate, 15-35 parts of coarse aggregate and 10-18 parts of water, wherein the red mud modified powder is prepared by drying and grinding red mud after iron separation of accumulated bauxite, sieving the red mud with a 1.18 mm square hole sieve and then mixing the red mud with an exciting agent; wherein the mass fraction of calcium, aluminum and silicon in the red mud after iron separation of the stacked bauxite is greater than 35%. The technical problems that in the prior art, the using amount of red mud is small, and the strength of a cushion material is low can be solved, and the method is particularly suitable for construction of a subbase layer in a pavement structure layer.
本发明提供了一种基于选铁后赤泥的稳定碎石路面基层材料及其制备方法和用途。基于选铁后赤泥的稳定碎石路面基层材料,由以下质量份的原料制成:赤泥改性粉40‑50,细骨料10‑25,粗骨料15‑35,水10‑18;其中,所述的赤泥改性粉为堆积型铝土矿选铁后赤泥经干燥,碾碎并过1.18mm方孔筛,然后与激发剂混合制备得到;其中,堆积型铝土矿选铁后赤泥中钙铝硅成分的质量分数大于35%。本发明能够克服上述现有技术中赤泥用量占比小,且其垫层材料的强度低等技术问题,尤其适合用于路面结构层中底基层的施工。
